Success in this role requires a deep understanding of customer needs and the ability to recommend design and configuration enhancements. You will ensure alignment with business objectives while serving as a liaison with the Global HR Technology team.
Key Responsibilities
As a Senior SAP SuccessFactors Expert, your key responsibilities will encompass:
Collaborating with both Global and local HR teams to implement, maintain, and enhance the functionality of SuccessFactors Employee Central in line with the goals of the Global HR Systems Portfolio and Zurich's IT strategy. Assisting the Portfolio Manager in developing the roadmap for Global HR Systems, particularly focusing on Employee Central. This typically involves creating a Business Case that includes cost/benefit analysis, risk assessment, project scope, and the formulation of a high-level plan. Working alongside our Implementation Partner and Applications Support team to oversee the administration of the SuccessFactors system for implemented modules. This includes supporting, reviewing, and validating documentation and technical specifications, conducting impact analysis across the system landscape, supervising the implementation of change requests, and ensuring timely resolution of system defects. Participating in implementation projects for new SuccessFactors modules and functionalities, ensuring that IT deliverables are clearly defined and executed. You will also conduct quality review checks on project IT deliverables, including system configuration, role-based permissions, integrations, and data and system security assessments. Collaborating with suppliers and the HR team to implement SAP releases and updates, ensuring that the HR team comprehends the implications of these updates. You will also make recommendations for application and integration improvements, as well as for potential application decommissioning. Acting as a liaison between the Centers of Excellence, Global HR, and IT for your area of responsibility. Mentoring junior colleagues.Required Skills and Experience
As a Senior SAP SuccessFactors Subject Matter Expert, your qualifications will ideally include:
A Bachelor's degree (or equivalent), preferably with an IT background, and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in implementing, supporting, and evolving SuccessFactors systems for multinational organizations. Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central. Familiarity with other modules such as Compensation, Opportunities Marketplace, Onboarding, Recruiting, Performance and Goals, and Talent & Development is advantageous. Experience with integrations between SuccessFactors and other enterprise HR technologies (SAP HCM, ServiceNow) as well as other non-HR corporate applications. Familiarity with SAP Cloud Platform integrations is a plus. A results-oriented, service-minded approach, with the ability to navigate challenging situations proactively. Several years of experience working in a multicultural environment with virtual teams, demonstrating high intercultural awareness, teamwork, and an open-minded attitude. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (additional languages are a plus).What We Offer
