Mysheetmusictranscriptions is seeking a skilled Orchestral Transcriber to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for transcribing accurate full orchestral or big ensemble pieces from a given audio source.

  • Transcribe complex musical pieces with multiple independent voices, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Create publish-ready editions of transcribed music, adhering to current industry standards for music notation, layout, enharmonies, and rhythmic values.
  • Deliver clean, reliable, and accurate sheet music in digital format using standard music notation software.

  • At least 100 transcriptions experience involving full orchestral or big ensemble pieces.
  • Proficiency in at least one music notation software: Sibelius, Finale, Musescore, or Dorico.
  • Fluent English or Spanish skills.
  • Strong communication and time-management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with our house-style guidebook and onboarding documents.

  • High level of self-discipline.
  • Fluency in additional languages for transcribing and hyphenating vocals.
  • Experience collaborating with musicians and/or clients.

Compensation will be based on the candidate's experience and skillset.
