About the Role

Mysheetmusictranscriptions is seeking a skilled Piano & Vocal Transcription Specialist to join our team of music notation experts. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for transcribing accurate piano & vocal scores from given audio sources.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transcribe high-quality piano & vocal scores from audio sources, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Create publish-ready editions of transcribed scores, adhering to current industry standards for music notation, layout, enharmonies, and rhythmic values.
  • Deliver clean, reliable, and accurate sheet music in digital format using standard music notation software.
Requirements
  • At least 100 transcriptions experience involving piano, vocals, or vocal ensembles.
  • Proficiency in at least one music notation software: Sibelius, Finale, Musescore, or Dorico.
  • Fluent English or Spanish skills.
  • Strong communication and time-management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with our house-style guidebook and onboarding documents.
Desirable Qualifications
  • High level of self-discipline.
  • Fluent French skills for transcribing and hyphenating vocals.
  • Proficiency in other languages for transcribing and hyphenating vocals.
  • Experience collaborating with musicians and/or clients.
