Mysheetmusictranscriptions is seeking a skilled Vocal Ensemble Music Notation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our transcription team, you will be responsible for transcribing accurate choir / SATB / custom vocal ensembles from a given audio source.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transcribe accurate vocal ensembles from audio sources, ensuring high-quality results and meeting industry standards.
  • Create publish-ready editions of transcribed music, adhering to current industry standards for music notation, layout, enharmonies, and rhythmic values.
  • Deliver clean, reliable, and accurate sheet music in digital format using standard music notation software.
Requirements
  • At least 100 transcriptions experience involving vocals, demonstrating expertise in the field.
  • Proficiency in at least one music notation software: Sibelius, Finale, Musescore, or Dorico.
  • Fluent English or Spanish skills, with strong communication and time-management skills to meet deadlines.
  • Able to read, understand, and acknowledge our house-style guidebook and onboarding documents.
Nice-to-Haves
  • High level of self-discipline and ability to work independently.
  • Fluent in French or other languages to transcribe and hyphenate vocals.
  • Experience collaborating with musicians and/or clients.

Compensation will be based on the candidate's experience and skillset.
