Job DescriptionJob Title: Head of Cybersecurity
Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Head of Cybersecurity to lead our Cyber and Engineering Security team and oversee the security of our products and services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the Cyber and Engineering Security team, ensuring a consistently high-performing and well-balanced talent pool.
- Define and execute the company security strategy and roadmap, aligning with business priorities and technology strategy.
- Provide technical guidance and direction to product delivery teams on security architecture, design, development, testing, and deployment of security solutions.
- Establish and enforce security standards, policies, and procedures, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and industry best practices.
- Lead the implementation and facilitation of a security training and awareness program for all company employees.
- Monitor and analyze the security posture of internal products and services, identifying and remediating security risks or issues.
- Work with the Customer Service Desk and Software Engineers to lead and coordinate the response to security incidents and vulnerabilities, conducting root cause analysis and lessons learned.
- Communicate effectively with senior stakeholders, customers, and delivery teams on security matters.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends, threats, and technologies, continuously improving the team's skills and capabilities.
Requirements:
- Experience in security engineering, preferably in a software development environment.
- Experience in managing or leading a team of security engineers or similar roles, with a proven track record of delivering results through effective people management, mentorship, and strategic guidance.
- Deep knowledge of security principles, frameworks, standards, and industry best practices, such as OWASP and NIST.
- Familiarity with security assessments, audits, penetration testing, and vulnerability management.
- Ability to work autonomously in a dynamic environment, taking multiple initiatives forward at the same time.
- Experience in developing secure code and implementing secure development lifecycle (SDLC) processes.
- Experience in the implementation and management of a security awareness program.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
- Full English proficiency, with excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of conveying technical information to diverse audiences.
