Key Responsibilities- Cybersecurity Governance
- Develop and maintain cybersecurity policies, standards, and procedures in alignment with Werfen's cybersecurity framework.
- Participate in cybersecurity awareness and training initiatives to promote a culture of cybersecurity within the organization.
- Support the implementation and maintenance of the cybersecurity governance framework.
- Identify and assess cybersecurity risks and vulnerabilities, providing recommendations for mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with the cybersecurity team to implement risk mitigation strategies and monitor their effectiveness.
- Assist in the preparation and presentation of risk reduction efforts to senior management and stakeholders.
- Stay up-to-date with relevant cybersecurity regulations, standards, and frameworks, ensuring Werfen's compliance with these requirements.
- Contribute to compliance assessments and audits, providing recommendations for improvement.
- Assist with responses to compliance findings and recommendations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of cybersecurity policies, compliance documentation, and risk management activities.
- Support the preparation of reports for management and stakeholders on cybersecurity governance, risk management, and compliance activities.
- Participate in incident response activities under the guidance of senior team members, providing technical support as needed.
- Assist with incident detection, investigation, and resolution efforts, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
- Maintain the Segregation of Duties (SoD) Matrix, identifying and mitigating SoD risks through technical solutions and process improvements.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience in Information Security.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in ISMS and cybersecurity frameworks, particularly NIST and ISO.
- Basic knowledge of regulatory requirements, such as GDPR and HIPAA.
- Experience with GRC platforms, preferably SAP GRC.
- Strong understanding of fundamental information security concepts and technology.
- Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage assigned projects.
- Adaptability to change and willingness to learn.
