Your Mission

The Corporate Pricing Consultant (CPC) plays a pivotal role in defining the pricing strategy and ensuring its effective local execution. This position is crucial for adhering to existing governance processes while actively contributing to their ongoing enhancement. The CPC will also evaluate potential new assets from a market access and pricing standpoint, thereby supporting the company's continuous growth and development.

In this capacity, the CPC will report to the Head of Corporate Pricing and collaborate closely with various teams, including Market Access Managers, Local Pricing teams, and Global Brand teams. Success in this role requires the ability to navigate a matrix environment, coupled with strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills. The CPC must also possess the capability to drive strategic execution and influence peers and local teams effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Pre-launch Activities: Engage in the evaluation of new assets from a market access and pricing perspective. Conduct comprehensive pricing, payer, and market access research to inform product pricing and access strategies. Collaborate with the Market Access Manager to develop a global Market Access & Pricing strategy, including pricing strategies. Propose optimal list and net prices to facilitate effective global access and execution.
  • Launch Activities: Create contracting guidance and tools to enhance local negotiations. Provide training and support to local teams to facilitate effective contracting options and negotiations.
  • Post-launch Activities: Review and assist with local Pricing & Reimbursement submissions and price adjustments. Formulate lifecycle management strategies for pricing and reimbursement, including price maintenance and gross-to-net strategies. Oversee price adjustments and the creation of pricing maps, ensuring responsible parties achieve suitable price developments.
  • Non-product Specific Tasks: Promote the optimization of pricing processes, tools, and governance structures, advocating for continuous improvement. Monitor and analyze trends in the healthcare environment and competitive landscapes to inform market access strategies. Participate in broader cross-functional projects to foster collaboration and horizontal growth.

Requirements

What You'll Need to Succeed

  • A degree in Life Sciences, Economics, or Engineering.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in Pricing and Market Access within the pharmaceutical sector.

  • Strong problem-solving skills, strategic thinking, excellent communication, and organizational abilities, along with a collaborative spirit.
