Role Overview:
We are seeking a Procurement Contract Manager to enhance our capabilities in the renewable energy domain. This position is ideal for individuals with substantial experience in procurement and a comprehensive understanding of the Southern European renewable energy landscape.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective procurement strategies for essential services and works, ensuring compliance with all relevant policies and procedures.
- Manage the tendering process for renewable energy projects, including the procurement of equipment and services.
- Conduct all pre and post-contract commercial activities, ensuring that cost estimates are accurate and that contract changes are negotiated effectively.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and collaborate with the wider Procurement and Commercial Teams to maximize group leverage.
- Oversee post-contract management, including claims management and supplier relationship management.
Required Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A thorough understanding of the renewable energy market in Southern Europe, particularly in Spain, Italy, France, and Greece.
- Proven experience in managing large-scale projects within the renewable energy sector.
- A Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
- Strong negotiation skills and experience in contract management.
- Proficiency in both Spanish and English, with additional European languages being a plus.
