Job Description

**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Construction Project Manager to join our team at EDP Energias de Portugal. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of our onshore wind and solar PV projects.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage the preparation and execution of construction projects from investment memo to commercial operation date.
  • Develop and implement construction management plans, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Lead and manage a team of construction professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure project success.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, procurement, and operations, to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, as well as quality and schedule requirements.
  • Manage budgets and resources, ensuring projects are delivered within approved budgets and timelines.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including contractors, suppliers, and regulatory bodies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in construction project management, preferably in the renewable energy sector.
  • Proven track record of delivering complex construction projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team of professionals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in MS Project, MS Office, and AutoCAD.
