About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Construction Project Manager to join our team at Edp Energias De Portugal. As a key member of our Construction Department, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of our onshore wind and solar PV projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the entire construction process, from pre-construction to commercial operation date, ensuring compliance with company policies, processes, and procedures.
  • Develop and implement construction management plans, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
  • Lead and manage a team of construction professionals, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, procurement, and operations, to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, as well as quality assurance and quality control standards.
  • Manage and mitigate risks, identifying and implementing corrective actions to ensure project success.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including contractors, suppliers, and regulatory bodies.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering, preferably in electrical or civil works or similar.
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in construction management, preferably in onshore wind and solar PV projects.
  • Proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in MS Project, MS Office, and AutoCad.
