We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Associate to join our dynamic and international team at IE University Administration & Accounting department. Key Responsibilities- Review and analyze balance sheet accounts and income statements to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Monitor and control financial accounting processes, including accounts payable and fixed assets.
- Supervise the accounts payable department and ensure timely payment of invoices.
- Collaborate with the Management Team to prepare financial reports and presentations.
- Participate in special projects to improve administrative processes and implement automation solutions.
- Respond to queries from various stakeholders and resolve any accounting-related issues.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
- Knowledge of Spanish GAAP and US GAAP, with experience in financial accounting and auditing.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and experience with ERPs, preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365.
- Fluency in English and Spanish, with excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
