Contract Operations Manager

The Contract Manager role is a key operational position within the Iberia Cluster, responsible for advising and partnering with external stakeholders to enhance contract management. This role requires a strong legal contract knowledge, a compliance-driven mentality, and a proactive hands-on approach.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review agreements, including clinical trial, healthcare-related agreements, commercial agreements, vendor and supplier agreements, and CDA.
- Coordinate with assistants and international teams in the contract management process.
- Collaborate in the creation and implementation of contract templates and master agreements.
- Liaise with the Legal Corporate function for contract local needs analysis, template creation, modification, and approval.
- Own and maintain contracts and addendums database, ensuring it is up-to-date.
- Communicate with vendors and service providers to resolve contract issues.
- Act as the first point of contact for contract inquiries and provide guidance on contract and addendum.
- Monitor and follow up on framework agreements, including renewal, extension, and close-out.
- Develop and deliver training on contract management to managers and employees.
Support to Corporate Administration
- Provide support on corporate administration activities, including Board of Directors, Shareholders meetings, and Power of Attorney.
Collaboration with Legal and Compliance
- Closely collaborate with the Legal function on Iberia Cluster legal matters, contracts, and corporate and pharmaceutical law.
- Support the Compliance function on Iberia Cluster compliance and governance risk related to commercialization of biopharmaceutical products.
Finance and Data Privacy
- Closely collaborate with the Finance function on procurement processes, vendors, and other related activities.
- Lead Data privacy activities in the Iberia Cluster.
Qualifications
- Degree in Law.
- Fluent in English and Spanish; preferred fluent in Portuguese.
- 6+ years of experience as an attorney (law firm or in-house).
- Strong experience in Contracts.
- International experience a plus.
- Experience/knowledge in Pharmaceutical, Healthcare, Life Science sector and/or regulated environments/compliance related to FCPA.
- Organizational skills and management of different teams.
- Results-oriented, with a high level of autonomy.
