Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Flight Instructor to join our team at Saint Louis University. As a Flight Instructor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality flight instruction to our students in the professional pilot programs. You will participate in standardization training, maintain flight proficiency, and adhere to all FAA regulations and departmental policies.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and deliver comprehensive flight instruction to students, ensuring they meet the required standards.
  2. Participate in standardization training to maintain expertise and stay up-to-date with industry developments.
  3. Conduct regular meetings with students to discuss progress, provide feedback, and set goals.
  4. Ensure all flight lessons are completed according to the Training Course Outline specifications.
  5. Submit requests for stage checks and ensure all flight books and logs are up-to-date.
  6. Perform other duties as assigned by the Office Supervisor.

Requirements

  • Certified Flight Instructor – Airplane (CFI) certification is required.
  • CFII / MEI certificate is preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • Valid medical certificate is required.
