Marketing Controller - FP&A

We are seeking a highly skilled Marketing Controller - FP&A to join our team at Nexthink Sa. As a key member of our Finance team, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and expansion globally.

Your Mission:

As a Marketing Controller - FP&A, you will be responsible for providing actionable insights that will help Nexthink Sa expand globally. You will analyze business performance to uncover trends, insights, and opportunities, and develop financial models to plan, measure, and forecast the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in annual planning, long-term planning, rolling forecast, and variance process
  • Understand marketing activities and challenge Cost per activity, ROI, and marketing metrics
  • Produce KPI reporting and root cause trends in KPIs
  • Prepare insights for variance and critical meetings
  • Maintain and update Adaptive Planning
  • Prepare and review monthly financial decks to promote internal and external understanding of the company's financial results
  • Support department budgets, headcount planning, strategic initiatives, ad hoc financial analysis, and monthly, quarterly, and annual planning
  • Work cross-functionally with Accounting team on variance analysis and monthly reporting, People Ops teams on headcount metrics and recruiting, and Department leaders on budgeting and forecast updates from prior months' results

Requirements:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • 5+ years of FP&A experience or Marketing Controller within a SaaS or Tech company in an international environment
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, statistics, economics, business, or other related fields
  • Experience with financial planning software (Adaptive Planning) and Netsuite
  • Possession of a passion for helping others make informed decisions driven by ROI and storytelling with numbers
  • Ability to present financial data concisely using detailed reports and charts and through written and oral communication
  • Outstanding Excel skills with the ability to manipulate large data sets
  • Strong analytical capabilities
  • Independent spirit who thrives in fast-paced environments and adapts to change easily
