Procurement Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team at Bunge. As a key member of our Procurement department, you will be responsible for managing the corporate services category for Western Europe countries, generating benefits and providing support to our corporate functions based in Sant Just Desvern (Barcelona) headquarters.
Main Responsibilities- Lead the implementation of Procurement best practices and processes according to procurement policies.
- Perform procurement projects and category management initiatives, creating and driving a Procurement action plan to generate benefits involving stakeholders.
- Responsible for corporate services spend optimization, initiating and driving cost-saving actions, tenders, and negotiations.
- Manage supplier relationships and oversee their performance, negotiating contracts and spot purchases.
- Implement Regional (European) frame agreements and participate in Regional category projects as required.
- Participate and support in transactional improvement and standardization projects, being a key user for procurement systems (SRM and SAP).
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar position.
- Native Spanish and advanced level of English; Italian is also highly valued.
- Previous experience in an international group is recommended.
- Results-oriented, able to make decisions, team player, and customer-oriented.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Occasional travels to other Bunge countries if needed (very limited).
- Good level using pivot tables in Excel and MS Office.
- Highly valued a good expertise in SAP and SRM systems.
- Able to collect, report, and analyze cost data in a timely and accurate manner to support decision-making.
