We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Specialist to join our team at HITACHI ENERGY SPAIN, S.A.U. in Zaragoza. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a crucial role in designing the mechanical structure and product components of our dry transformers.
Key Responsibilities- Design and Development: You will be responsible for dimensioning dry transformers mechanically based on customer specifications, international standards, and factory requirements.
- Collaboration and Communication: You will work closely with sales, project management, and electrical designers to develop optimal technical solutions for our customers.
- Documentation and Quality: You will provide high-quality 3D and 2D documentation for manufacturing and suppliers, as well as technical documentation and instructions to our customers when required.
- Research and Development: You will research ease of manufacture, availability of materials and equipment, and use CAD/CAE software during the conceptual design process.
- Support and Collaboration: You will support other areas within operations during manufacturing stages and participate in product-related continuous improvement activities and cost-out initiatives.
- Technical Expertise: You will consult with other engineering groups to ensure the application of official technical standards from HITACHI ENERGY and best practices across our factories.
- Education: You must have a Certificate of Higher Education related to product design or a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience: You should have around 2 years of experience in design and execution.
- Technical Skills: You must have previous experience and knowledge in CREO PTC 3D modeling system or similar software.
- Language Skills: You must be fluent in Spanish and have a B2 level in English.
- Soft Skills: You should have initiative, creativity, and great attention to detail.
- Desirable Skills: Knowledge of mechanical simulations will be considered a plus.
