Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Technical Training Instructor to enhance our Engineering Training department. This role is ideal for individuals who are enthusiastic about aviation and have a desire to educate a diverse range of aircraft engineering subjects to our personnel, whether they are at the beginning of their careers or seasoned professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Delivering all technical training to engineering personnel, ensuring adherence to the highest industry standards, including:
- Training aligned with business requirements across various airlines
- Part 147 theoretical and practical training
- Specialized type-specific training
- Preparing and enhancing technical training programs
- Creating instructional materials such as course outlines, lesson plans, and training aids
- Maintaining knowledge of EASA regulations and regularly reviewing relevant procedures
- Developing and approving training content using various delivery methods (classroom, eLearning, virtual, etc.)
- Delivering practical technical training effectively
- Maintaining and advancing training facilities for continuous learning improvements
- Exhibiting a hands-on approach to training
- Demonstrating strong organizational skills to design and implement effective training programs
- Communicating clearly in both written and verbal formats
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will possess experience in aircraft technical training or aircraft engineering. We value individuals who are eager to learn, contribute innovative ideas, and engage openly with the broader team. Excellent communication skills are essential, as you will collaborate with a diverse group of colleagues.
Qualifications
- Preferred: UK/EASA Part 66 Licence or Aerospace Engineering degree, or equivalent experience in aircraft technical training
- Experience in aircraft engineering and hands-on work with aircraft is advantageous
- Attention to detail and the ability to escalate issues appropriately
- Strong planning skills to meet deadlines set by management
- Proficient in Office 365 and willing to learn new software tools
- Ability to provide constructive feedback on compliance issues
- Effective communicator across various communication channels
- Open-minded and eager to acquire new skills and share ideas
- Strong work ethic and accountability for timely task completion
- Adaptability to change and ability to work under pressure
- Problem-solving skills to address challenges proactively
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Must hold a valid UK/EU passport and be willing to travel as required
