Aircraft Technical Training Specialist

Ryanair Engineering, delivered by SIAM, is a leading facility in Europe that forms part of the Ryanair Heavy Maintenance Engineering group. Our facility in Seville is responsible for conducting extensive base maintenance checks on Ryanair's fleet of Boeing aircraft. We are seeking an experienced Technical Training Instructor to join our dedicated team.
The RoleWe are looking for a Technical Training Instructor who is passionate about aviation and has a strong interest in teaching a wide range of aircraft engineering topics to our staff working in the field. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of all technical training to engineering staff to the highest industry standards.
Key Responsibilities- Delivery of technical training to engineering staff, including Part 147 theoretical and practical training, and specialised type-specific training.
- Preparing technical training and improving current courses.
- Development of instructor materials, including course outlines, lesson plans, background material, instructional materials, and training aids.
- Ensuring knowledge of EASA regulations and regular review of procedures and regulations relevant to the training course.
- Ability to develop and approve training material using various training delivery methods.
- Delivering technical training in a practical manner and maintaining and developing the training centers for further learning enhancements.
- Strong organisational skills and ability to build and deliver effective training programmes.
We are looking for someone with experience in aircraft technical training or within aircraft engineering. The ideal candidate will be keen to learn, provide new ideas to the training team, and interact openly with the wider network. Strong communication skills are essential, as you will be working with different nationalities, diversities, and ages.
The following requirements are desirable but not essential:
- Hold a UK/EASA Part 66 Licence or Aerospace Engineering degree.
- Experience in aircraft engineering and working physically on the aeroplane.
- A keen eye to detail and ability to escalate issues to the management team.
- Ability to plan and work to deadlines laid out by the management teams.
- Good working knowledge of Office 365 and willingness to learn new programs/software tools.
- Ability to scrutinise and supply constructive critique where non-compliance may be found to the management team.
- Be an effective communicator and interact with the team through all types of communication.
- Applicants must be open-minded, eager to learn new skills, and bring new ideas to the team.
- Must have a strong work ethic and show responsibility to their own work and completion in a timely manner.
- Must be flexible and able to adapt to change quickly.
- Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Ability to seek and find solutions and address them to the management team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must hold a valid UK/EU passport and be happy to travel where the business requires.
