EMESA Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Senior Director

At Boston Consulting Group, we are committed to fostering a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion. We are seeking an experienced Senior Director to lead our EMESA region's DEI efforts, driving strategic thinking and execution to achieve our diversity objectives.

About the Role

This is a leadership position that requires a strong track record in DEI and people topics, with a proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and solve complex problems. The successful candidate will oversee the direction of DEI strategy, processes, and practices for EMESA, reporting into the EMESA People Chair and EMESA CHRO.

Key Responsibilities
  • Reorganize the DEI function and operating model in line with the REACHES program
  • Work closely with regional People Team Senior Director and People Chair to identify strategies, priorities, and plans of action to meet diversity objectives
  • Establish working relationships between DEI and markets, as well as with other people functions in the region
  • Design, develop, and implement regional strategic initiatives to improve diversity and promote an inclusive culture
  • Provide information and tools to enable senior leaders to champion and integrate the diversity and inclusion strategy
  • Track key metrics to measure progress on key indicators and initiatives
Requirements

We are looking for a candidate with a university degree or equivalent in social sciences, business, or a related field, and extensive experience across people topics, including DEI. The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of relevant work experience, with 3+ years in DEI, and a proven track record in a management position, leading cross-functional teams, and solving complex problems.

The successful candidate will have fluency in English and ideally one more EMESA language, with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities are essential, as well as the ability to prioritize top-level concerns and plan for future issues.
