As a Solutions Architect, you will primarily provide pre-sales technical support to foster sales opportunities across the region. Your role will involve leveraging your product expertise to offer technical guidance to both customers and sales personnel through engaging presentations and product demonstrations.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with peers and the Sales team to identify, cultivate, and secure opportunities.
- Establish and nurture relationships with the technical teams of customers and prospects.
- Deliver impactful presentations that are both business-oriented and technically detailed.
- Participate in field events, including conferences and trade shows, to showcase Splunk solutions.
- Address the functional and technical aspects of tender documents, such as RFIs/RFPs.
- Manage and deliver successful Proof of Concept (PoC) engagements.
- Respond to complex technical inquiries and address customer concerns effectively.
- Create relevant pre-sales materials, including business cases and competitive insights, to demonstrate the exceptional value and capabilities of Splunk's solutions.
- Work closely with colleagues and management to enhance working practices and pre-sales processes.
- Utilize your business knowledge and experience to drive success.
We are seeking candidates based in Madrid with a background in Enterprise Accounts. Experience can vary from technical (Infrastructure monitoring, RCA) to functional (Service Management, End-to-end monitoring, and Security). Additional experience in the following areas is advantageous:
- Cyber Security: both technical (SOC, SIEM) and functional (Fraud, Compliance)
- 5+ years of pre-sales experience, with knowledge in Security & APM / DevOps / observability.
- A degree or equivalent qualification, preferably in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in Business Analytics, databases, and ML/DL is a plus.
- Proactive approach with the ability to manage activities independently.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, in the local language and English.
- Self-motivated with a proven track record in technical software sales and technology knowledge.
- Organized and analytical, capable of overcoming sales challenges through creative and adaptive strategies.
- Experience working for a technical vendor with a rapidly expanding customer base.
- Excellent teamwork skills.
- Fluency in Spanish and English.
