As a Cloud Solutions Architect, you will be responsible for providing technical leadership and guidance to our partners and customers in the design and implementation of cloud-based solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Act as a technical leader in the field to provide architectural guidance and recommendations necessary to promote and accelerate partner engagements worldwide.
- Ensure customer and partner success in designing, building, and migrating applications, software, and services on the AWS platform.
- Lead deep architectural discussions and design exercises to create world-class solutions built on AWS while ensuring solutions are designed for successful deployment in the cloud.
- Be an AWS evangelist; educate customers and partners of all sizes on the value proposition of AWS.
- Author or otherwise contribute to AWS customer-facing publications such as white papers, blogs, and proof of concepts.
- In partnership with the sales and partner team, formulate and execute a sales strategy to exceed revenue objectives through the adoption of AWS and its partner solutions.
- Build deep relationships with senior technical individuals within customers and partners to enable them to be cloud advocates.
- Capture and share best-practice knowledge among the AWS solutions architect community.

Requirements- Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud or architecting/operating solutions built on AWS.
- Familiarity with common enterprise services (Directory Services, Information Assurance, Virtual Desktop, etc.), products (i.e., Oracle, SAP), and working knowledge of software development tools and methodologies.
- Presentation skills with a high degree of comfort speaking with both external and internal executives, IT Management, and developers.
- Experience in positioning professional services to prospective customers.
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly such as AWS Certification, e.g. AWS Solutions Architect Associate.
