Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project SCADA Engineer to join our Network Control team at Hitachi Energy Spain, S.A.U. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering expert-level SCADA system solutions to our customers in Europe, Asia, Africa, and Australia.
Key Responsibilities:
- SCADA System Expertise: Provide application expertise in our system deliveries to customers, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.
- Customer Collaboration: Work closely with customers' SCADA experts to configure SCADA applications, meeting their specific requirements and needs.
- Workflow Integration: Support customers in developing efficient and robust workflow integrations between SCADA systems and other IT/OT systems, leveraging state-of-the-art interface and integration technologies.
- Testing and Quality Assurance: Plan and conduct thorough tests (FAT, IAT, and SAT) with customers to ensure the system meets contractual requirements.
- Training and Support: Train customers on operating SCADA functions in the system, providing ongoing support and guidance as needed.
- Technical Problem-Solving: Collaborate with our technical team to efficiently and effectively resolve technical issues reported by customers.
- Core Values: Embody Hitachi Energy's core values of safety and integrity, taking responsibility for your actions and caring for your colleagues and the business.
Requirements:
- Education: Master of Science in Electrical Engineering, with a focus on energy systems and electrical power networks.
- Experience: Proven experience in the SCADA systems business, with a strong understanding of integration technologies like CIM Data Modelling, CIM Messaging, OPC UA, REST APIs, Kafka, etc.
- Skills: Analytical and accurate, with excellent communication skills and a desire to work in a dynamic and multicultural environment.
- Language: Fluency in English and Spanish is required, both written and spoken, to enable interaction with a wide variety of stakeholders.
