Job SummaryWe are seeking a Manufacturing Section Manager to join our Production area of Diagnostic Instruments at Grifols SA, an industrial company that researches, develops, and manufactures high-tech products for clinical diagnosis.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and lead a team in a continuous improvement culture, focusing on process optimization and efficiency.
- Coordinate production planning and ensure its execution, including training on new processes and measurement systems.
- Lead process improvement projects, evaluating existing equipment and processes to implement improvements in both process performance and overall production ergonomics/safety.
- Develop action plans to achieve short- and long-term efficiency goals, select new production methods, design production fixtures, and methods to monitor efficiency.
- Follow up on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to maintain and improve performance.
- Create and review production documents, including manufacturing guides, technology transfer reports, bill of materials, process descriptions, and project reports.
- Lead technical support for risk assessments, gap analyses, deviations, change controls, and Corrective Action Preventive Actions (CAPAs).
- Determine causes and establish solutions for corrective actions and follow up to ensure completion.
- Cooperate with other departments to effectively transfer and maintain processes at the facilities.
- Support initiatives in other plants within the division.
- Classify and direct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) analyses for equipment downtime and process failures.
- Use lean methodologies and problem-solving techniques to identify opportunities for cost reduction, lead time reduction, inventory reduction, and quality improvement.
