Medtronic is seeking a highly skilled Technical Consultant to join our Cardiac Rhythm Management team. As a Technical Consultant, you will play a critical role in providing expert technical support to physicians and healthcare professionals in the operating room, as well as working with a network of accounts to expand the utilization of device therapies, diagnostics, and monitoring for cardiac rhythm and heart failure disease management.
Key Responsibilities- Technical Support: Provide expert technical support to physicians in the operating room during Pacemaker and Implantable Cardioverter-Defibrillator implants and Electrophysiology procedures.
- Product Expertise: Advise referring physicians on company products, therapies, and services to optimize patient outcomes.
- Relationship Building: Build strong and lasting relationships with key decision makers.
- Clinical Education: Educate referring physicians on clinical evidence of defined therapies to demonstrate improved patient outcomes.
- Administrative Duties: Carry out all administrative duties and reports.
- Education: University degree in Health sciences (biomedical engineering, electrical, IT, natural sciences, or other relevant degree).
- Experience: At least 2 years of experience minimum is required but it's not a limitation.
- Communication Skills: Willingness to work with physicians, nurses, and hospital technicians.
- Technical Skills: Willingness to provide expert technical support in the operating room.
- Language Skills: Fluent English and Spanish (both written and spoken).
- Computer Literacy: Computer literacy.
- Business Acumen: Communication skills and motivation to build strong business relationships with customers.
- Travel Requirements: Clean driving license; willingness to travel intensively.
- Teamwork: Teamwork, proactivity, and focus on delivering results.
