Step into the dynamic realm of travel, where you will be part of an innovative startup within a larger corporate structure (specifically Australian).
The company has recently revitalized a legacy Salesforce system that has been in place for over 15 years. The current objective is to enhance value by empowering business operations through technology while further internationalizing our workforce and processes.
Salesforce is pivotal to our operations, and we require your expertise to support this global rollout and the development of a Robust SALESFORCE Team.
YOUR ROLE
As a Salesforce Developer, you will be instrumental in refining the Salesforce platform to align with business objectives and foster outstanding user experiences.
- Salesforce Design and Development Leadership: Collaborate with Solution Architects and the Development team to ensure comprehensive oversight, guidance, and governance (framework, tools, strategy, optimization, and security).
- Salesforce Development: Design, develop, test, and implement Salesforce solutions tailored to meet business requirements.
- Transformation Initiatives: Actively engage in transformation projects aimed at enhancing processes and maximizing Salesforce functionalities.
- Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC): Oversee code versioning, conduct code reviews, and ensure the quality and security of all Salesforce development.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- DevOps Management: Collaborate with the Development team to optimize deployment processes, automate workflows, and guarantee continuous integration and delivery.
- System Integration: Integrate Salesforce with external systems and applications, ensuring smooth data flow and interoperability.
- Technical Support: Provide Level 3 technical support to our Level 1/Level 2 support teams for more complex issues.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of technical specifications, configurations, and customizations to promote knowledge sharing and efficient project management.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum of 5 years experience in Salesforce development, focusing on customizations and complex projects.
- Technical Proficiency: Skilled in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and Salesforce APIs. Familiarity with additional programming languages is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills: Ability to adapt to various audiences.
- Comfortable with DevOps principles.
