Position Overview: Senior Manager Compliance & Excellence, Global Quality Specialties
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Oversee and support Quality strategies for the Specialties division, ensuring alignment with Global Quality Policies and strategic objectives.
* Provide oversight for quality processes in accordance with current GMP regulations and internal performance metrics specific to the specialties sector.
* Ensure timely testing and release of products, adhering to registered Marketing authorization requirements.
* Monitor and evaluate quality performance, assist in developing mitigation strategies, and support the implementation of quality and productivity enhancement initiatives within the Quality organizations of the Specialties division.
* Facilitate training and contribute to the development of Quality personnel within the Specialties division.
* Regularly assess QA and QC performance across departmental sites, identify areas for enhancement, and collaborate with SQH to execute remediation plans.
* Aid in the development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of Quality processes within the Specialties division.
* Support the assessment of compliance levels at both internal and external sites within the Specialties division, identifying opportunities for improvement and assisting in the implementation of necessary remediation plans.
QUALIFICATIONS
* Bachelor's degree in biologics/biosimilars, pharmaceutical sciences, natural sciences, or a related discipline.
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry within a Quality organization.
* Several years of experience in a leadership role related to Quality.
* Extensive experience with biologics/biosimilar/specialties manufacturing environments.
* Proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
* Strong communication skills.
* Additional training in Change Management, Project Management, 6-Sigma, or Lean Processes is advantageous.
