About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Capacity Planning Manager to join our Amazon Freight Partner team. As a key member of our logistics operations, you will be responsible for driving business strategy and growth using analytical skills and operational knowledge.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and present Amazon Freight Partner growth strategies
  • Develop partner profitability models and scenarios
  • Create flex demand allocation tenets and hold operations accountable
  • Build a tractor utilization management model and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Analyze data to generate forward-looking plans for senior stakeholders
  • Develop visualization tools and dashboards to analyze and report on KPIs
A Day in the Life

As a Capacity Planning Manager, you will use your analytical skills and business acumen to drive growth and innovation in our logistics operations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to explore new opportunities and present your ideas in well-structured documents and analysis.

About the Team

Our Amazon Transportation Service (ATS) team plays a critical role in our success, using air, sea, and road transport, as well as sortation centers equipped with the latest technology. We capture data and use it to drive decisions, making Amazon more innovative and efficient.

Minimum Requirements
  • Advanced or master's degree in Engineering, Statistics, Computer Science, Operations Research, Business Analytics, or another technical field
  • Experience working with operational, supply chain, or logistics teams
  • Proficiency in Tableau, SQL, Python, VBA, or Power BI
