Job Overview:

Main Responsibilities:

*Oversee and manage Export Control Compliance concerning:

*Inbound & Outbound Operations: Assess the necessary authorizations (licenses, exemptions, etc.) and provide clearance for shipments of regulated items under restrictions; Assist with EC clause deviation requests from external parties.

*Licenses and Agreements: Centralize and facilitate the entire lifecycle of the licensing process within Airbus Helicopters España and relevant departments (identification, application, verification, fulfillment of conditions, monitoring, and record-keeping).

*Escalation and Voluntary Disclosure: Recognize when a compliance violation occurs; assist departments with escalation and reporting (Voluntary Disclosure + Governance Compliance); follow up with departments on the action plan until resolution.

*Sanctions, Embargoes, and Screening: Monitor business activities for exposure to Airbus Sanctioned Country List nations; identify, assess, or escalate proposed dealings with countries or regions on the Airbus Sanctioned Country List.

*Framework: Governance, training, record maintenance, audits, etc.

*Export Controlled Technical Information: Aid departments in managing access to data based on its classification; conduct regular assessments of Export Control compliance regarding data management.

*Classification: Support the Airbus Classification process.

*ITAR Part 130: Determine if a Part 130 report is necessary and initiate reporting; assist departments in ensuring the ITAR Part 130 process is effectively implemented.

*Brokering: Centralize and evaluate circumstances to ascertain whether a transaction qualifies as brokering.

*Implement, enhance, and communicate Export Control procedures within Airbus Helicopters España.

*Manage licenses and/or specific authorizations (including export license preparation, application, and reporting) to ensure timely delivery of controlled export products and technologies.

*Authorize the delivery of items and services in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.

*Develop and maintain a training plan for Airbus Helicopters España employees involved in Export Control compliance; provide training to all relevant staff.

*Participate in business meetings to mitigate export control issues proactively, particularly through contract or design reviews.

*Continuously monitor changes in national and international export laws and regulations and liaise with relevant government authorities.

*Maintain and update lists of products, documentation, equipment, components, and/or parts subject to export restrictions.

*Coordinate Export Compliance efforts within divisional and national export control teams at Airbus Group. Attend coordination meetings within the Airbus Export Control Organization.

*Continuously enhance the performance of the export control function.

*Promote a culture of Export Control Compliance among customers and suppliers (third parties).
