We are seeking a Global IT Security Governance Analyst to become part of our team. This role allows for a hybrid work arrangement.
The primary objective of the Global IT Security Governance Analyst (GRC) is to collaborate with global IT and business process stakeholders to ensure that cybersecurity measures are established at acceptable risk levels. In this position, you will aid in the development and maintenance of information security policies and controls. The ideal candidate will partner with Information Security Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to document and validate security controls and capabilities. This analyst will be instrumental in formulating Information Security policies and executing the IT risk management framework across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement an Information Security Management System in accordance with the ISO framework.
- Conduct internal security risk evaluations to identify vulnerabilities in internal applications, cloud services, and commercial off-the-shelf products.
- Perform data mapping and document data flow within applications or business processes.
- Assist in risk management strategies, including risk mitigation, reduction, transfer, and exception processes.
- Assess the effectiveness of controls by defining, gathering, and communicating Information Security metrics.
- Support risk acceptance strategies and maintain the Risk Register process within the organization.
- Collaborate with technical teams to implement controls based on findings from Information Security assessments.
- Develop and articulate information security policies, standards, procedures, guidelines, and training materials.
Key Qualifications:
- Proficiency in English and a minimum of 3 years of experience in Risk Management within a large organization.
- Educational background in IT, with training in Risk Management, ISO 27000, and NIST 800 series publications preferred.
- Familiarity with security services such as Internet Content Filtering, Remote Access, Firewalls, IDS/IPS, Virus Protection, AAA (including 2-Factor Authentication), Digital Certificates, and PKI.
- Solid understanding of Cyber Security technologies; CRISC and CISA certifications are advantageous.
- Skills: Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities, meticulous attention to detail, and effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with the Archer Risk Management platform is a plus.
