Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer to join our international agile team of experts. As a Senior Data Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and designing a cutting-edge self-service analytics portal for the automotive market from scratch.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and Design Analytics Portal: Create a user-friendly and intuitive analytics portal that provides real-time benchmark data on spare parts sales and other relevant metrics to enhance clients' decision-making process.
- Data Pipeline Management: Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines to collect and store data from various sources, ensuring accuracy and integrity.
- Project Implementation: Take end-to-end responsibility for implementing projects, including data quality, efficiency, and reliability improvements.
- Communication and Collaboration: Communicate effectively with customers, internal stakeholders, and external partners to ensure seamless project execution.
Requirements
- Profound experience in a Data Engineer role with a strong background in Python (e.g., Pandas)
- In-depth knowledge of AWS infrastructure and serverless data pipelines
- Experience with IaaS tools (preferably AWS CDK or Serverless Framework)
- Business fluent in English (German is a bonus)
Preferred Qualifications
- AWS certification (Solutions Architect/Data Analytics) preferred
- Experience in the independent automotive aftermarket preferred
