Job Title: Space Systems Thermal Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Space Systems Thermal Engineer to join our team at Airbus. As a key member of our Thermal Systems and Products Spain Engineering Team, you will be responsible for leading the thermal engineering aspects of space projects under development in Madrid.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the thermal design and development of space systems and equipment, including analysis and test verification.
  • Plan and organize thermal design and analysis activities at project level to ensure compliance with technical requirements, project schedule, and cost.
  • Coordinate with other project engineers to establish the product environment and ensure proper development of thermal systems.
  • Manage subcontractors under your scope to ensure timely, high-quality deliveries.
  • Interface with customers, project management, chief engineering, AIT management, and other project functions to ensure smooth product development.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of practical experience in space thermal engineering.
  • Ample knowledge of thermal control design solutions, including manufacturing and assembly limitations.
  • Experience with related software (ESATAN-TMS, SYSTEMA, DOORS).
  • Strong written and oral communication skills in English and Spanish.
