About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Workplace Health and Safety Specialist to join our team at Amazon Road Transport Spain, S.L.U. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in driving improvements in workplace health and safety across our sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage health and safety programs, collaborating with other teams and stakeholders to ensure compliance with local regulations and Amazon's policies.
  • Analyze data reports and root causes to provide leadership with the information needed to make informed safety-related decisions.
  • Provide guidance and support for health and safety projects and policies, ensuring a culture of safety and inclusivity on our sites.
  • Drive programs to improve technical equipment specifications and designs within Amazon, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Travel within the covered region to support health and safety initiatives and collaborate with colleagues.
About the Team

Our Workplace Health and Safety team plays a vital role in keeping our employees mentally and physically well at work. We work closely with managers, associates, and local governments to ensure compliance with Amazon's policies and legal regulations, and that our workplaces are safe.

Requirements
  • Education to a degree level and qualification in Técnico Superior en Prevención de Riesgos Laborales, including specializations in Seguridad en el Trabajo, Higiene Industrial y Ergonomía & Psicosociología aplicada.
  • Professional training in a technical profession, preferably mechatronics or electrics.
  • Relevant experience managing projects and complying with local Health and Safety legislation.
  • Advanced proficiency in verbal and written English and Spanish.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
