Health and Safety Manager

As a Health and Safety Manager for Europe and the Middle East, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining health and safety programs and initiatives across retail stores. Your primary goal will be to ensure awareness and compliance with all regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage occupational risks across all departments, fostering a culture of safety and inclusivity.
- Ensure adherence to internal health and safety policies and procedures company-wide.
- Conduct routine inspections and audits of retail facilities to identify hazards and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Provide reports on legal compliance regarding health and safety matters.
- Collaborate with Store Managers, Country Leaders, HR, and other key stakeholders to address safety concerns and implement corrective actions.
- Organize and implement training programs on health and safety.
- Maintain accurate records related to health and safety activities.
- Develop and execute emergency management plans.
- Liaise with Occupational Healthcare services and devise appropriate action plans.
- Oversee internal accident reporting and investigation systems.
- Coordinate health and safety compliance among external suppliers.
- Represent the company in local health and safety committees.
- Relevant experience in a health and safety role at a similar level.
- Knowledge, certification, and qualification in relevant health and safety courses and processes.
- Ability to interpret and provide legal and authoritative advice on health and safety and risk management issues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
