Job Title: Electrical Design Team Manager

Job Summary:

Exclusivas Imanara is seeking an experienced Electrical Design Team Manager to lead our electrical design team in Madrid. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the design process, ensuring compliance with project specifications and regulations, and collaborating with other disciplines to deliver high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate the electrical design team to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Develop and implement design plans, installation drawings, and electrical plans for networks and substations.
  • Assign, control, and review activities of design team members.
  • Coordinate with other operative centers and specialties to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Validate and generate global design criteria in accordance with project specifications and regulations.
  • Lead periodic revisions of the 3D model, resolving interferences and applying corrective actions as needed.
  • Provide technical support to the leader of the discipline, ensuring compliance with deadlines and quality standards.
  • Contribute to inquiry and problem-solving during the project execution phase.
  • Participate in the continuous improvement of the Department, identifying lessons learned, needs for procedure development, and detecting any need for extra qualifications.
  • Train engineers with less experience.

Requirements:

  • 10 years of experience in a similar position in projects within the petrochemical industry, Oil & Gas, and energy.
  • Team management skills, including communication and organizational abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Smart Plant 3D, AutoCAD or BrisCAD, and AVEVA E3D, Microstation, and Dialux.
  • Fluency in Spanish and sufficient English to understand project specifications.
