Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Analyst to join our team in Malaga. As a Product Analyst, you will be responsible for driving the development of new payment solutions and improving existing ones. You will work closely with our technology team to define requirements, write epics, stories, and test books, and participate in all agile ceremonies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end delivery of new initiatives and maintenance items within the Payments and Collections world, including business analysis and testing, as well as identifying and executing against improvements to current features and processes.
  • Work closely with the technology team to define requirements, write epics, stories, and test books, and participate in all agile ceremonies.
  • Define, track, and monitor KPIs for product initiatives, and take decisions and actions based on results.
  • Analyze the requirements, implications, and opportunities from new regulations and rulebooks (i.e., BACS, Direct Debit, etc.).
  • Keep up-to-date with market, industry, and regulatory trends in Payments, which will drive your product decisions.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of stakeholder (internal and external) needs and behaviors, to enable you to design and deliver successful product outcomes.

Requirements

  • Have an understanding of Payments schemes and rulebooks, including international and domestic payment rails.
  • Have a strong focus on the client, and base decisions on client feedback.
  • Have solid communication skills (verbal and written), with the ability to clearly communicate product needs and requirements to leadership, business, and technical stakeholders.
  • Have strong organizational and project management skills.

Nice to Haves

  • 2 years working in a product role in a high-growth fintech or neobank, OR in software/service company OR in a payment role.
  • Hands-on experience using Jira.
  • Knowledge of all agile ceremonies.
  • Domain knowledge in Payments.
  • Successful delivery of product solutions in a fast-paced, agile organization.
  • A high level of organizational and project management skill.
  • Strong analytical abilities, including the ability to distill a problem into its component parts.
  • Experience working in a high-growth or scale-environment.
  • Deep knowledge of BACS, Direct Debits, or others.
  • Experience working with software vendors, payment schemes, and banks.
