The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Payments Analyst to join our Malaga-based team. As a key member of our Transactional Operations Department, you will be responsible for the execution and management of outbound payments in over 140 currencies. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring the smooth processing and validation of beneficiary bank data, as well as handling payment investigation queries.
Key Responsibilities
- Verify and complete payment beneficiaries, ensuring all requirements are met.
- Instruction and verification of outbound payments via SWIFT and other payment schemes, or directly from banking platforms.
- Process bulk payment files and manage payment issues and queries.
- Investigate non-received, short, or returned payments, and process or escalate cases internally and externally with banking partners.
- Check and confirm the status of payments with third-party banking and payment platforms.
- Process payment returns, recalls, amendments, and rejections.
- Communicate proactively with external liquidity or payment providers.
- Support other internal teams and collaborate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
