About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Operations & Technical Training Manager to join our team at Tecnatom S.A.U.

This is a key position on our Competency Development & Nuclear Operations team, and the incumbent must have high initiative and exceptional leadership, collaboration, and team building skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish Area and Individual Objectives
    • Set clear goals and objectives for the team and individuals
    • Monitor performance and provide feedback and coaching to ensure objectives are met
  • Direct, Mentor, and Develop Area Personnel
    • Lead and develop a team of Technical and Operations Instructors
    • Mentor and coach team members to improve their skills and performance
  • Develop Skills of the Group and Maintain Subject Matter Expertise
    • Develop and maintain the skills of the group to ensure they have the necessary expertise to support business projects
    • Maintain Subject Matter Expertise (SME) within the group and cross-train personnel to ensure resources are qualified to support business projects
  • Positively Model and Champion a Results-Oriented Accountability Culture
    • Model and champion a results-oriented accountability culture within the team
    • Create an environment that encourages and supports employee participation through involvement in problem-solving, decision-making, and implementing change
  • Maintain High Employee Morale

    • Support Westinghouse transformation savings objective and ensure effective utilization of assets to deliver company value
    • Effectively deploy personnel, methods, and tools in support of business unit and corporate activities and projects
  • Create Flexible Workforce
    • Create a flexible workforce to accommodate variable demand within business unit requirement ranges
  • Ensure Estimates and Projects Are Not Overly Burdened
    • Ensure estimates and projects are not overly burdened with labor hours and personnel are moved to other work upon completion of their assignment
  • Support the Business Unit During the Bid and Proposal Process

  • Deliver Operations and Technical Training
    • Deliver operations and technical training and qualify new instructors based on their qualifications
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Scientific, or Equivalent

  • Supervision Experience in a Training Environment
    • Have supervision experience in a training environment
  • Minimum 5 Years of Experience on Operations and/or Technical Training
