Domain Architect Lending Specialist

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Domain Architect to join our team at Ing Bank. As a key member of our Architecture CoE, you will play a crucial role in guiding the bank's technology strategy and delivering innovative solutions for our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Domain Expertise: Identify and define the scope of Bounded Contexts within the banking domain, aligning with business needs and value streams.
- Architectural Design: Co-create architectural designs at different temporal horizons, considering business and technology strategies, and integrating global and local systems.
- Business Alignment: Contribute to roadmap definition, providing guidance to business and delivery leadership, and assessing the impact of key initiatives.
- Technical Leadership: Own the integration of services and platforms across the domain, optimizing functional and non-functional requirements, and reducing complexity and architectural debt.
- Knowledge Sharing: Provide guidance to engineers, managers, and teams/squads on domain-specific design patterns and best practices.
- Quarterly Business Review: Lead Quarterly Business Review (QBR) items, sign off quarterly plans, and ensure architecture implementation aligns with design.
Requirements
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills and ability to operate at own initiative with a proactive attitude.
- Teamwork: Ability to liaise with a broad range of people, including line management, senior management, external suppliers, and related individuals.
- Technical Expertise: Proven experience in Agile environments, hands-on development leadership, and successful change initiatives associated with IT in business.
- Domain Knowledge: In-depth understanding of banking environment, products, and processes, as well as experience in Microservices Architecture, API design, Event Driven Architecture, and Reactive principles.
