Domain Architect Lending Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Domain Architect to join our team at ING Bank. As a key member of our Architecture CoE, you will play a crucial role in guiding the bank's technology strategy and delivering innovative solutions for our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Domain Analysis: Identify and define the scope of Bounded Contexts within the banking domain, aligning with business needs and value streams.
- Architectural Design: Co-create architectural designs at different temporal horizons, considering business and technology strategies, and integrating global and local systems.
- Integration and Optimization: Own the integration of services and platforms across the domain, optimizing functional and non-functional requirements, and reducing complexity and architectural debt.
- Guidance and Collaboration: Provide guidance to engineers, managers, and teams/squads on domain-specific design patterns and Cookbooks.
- Quarterly Business Review: Be responsible for Quarterly Business Review (QBR) items and sign off quarterly plans and/or Change Governance Documents (CGD).
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Problem-Solving Ability: Strong analytical skills and problem-solving ability.
- Teamwork and Leadership: Experience working in a team, with clear behavior as a team player, and demonstrated experience in hands-on development leadership roles.
- Agile Environment: Proven experience in Agile environments and ability to work individually and as a team member.
- Domain Knowledge: In-depth understanding of banking environment, products, and processes, as well as knowledge of Domain Driven Design principles and methodology.
- Microservices Architecture: Experience in Microservices Architecture, API design, Event Driven Architecture (Kafka, RabbitMQ), and Reactive principles.
- Security Principles: Good understanding of security principles and patterns at different viewpoints: application, transport, infra.
