We are seeking a highly skilled Domain Architect to join our team at ING Bank. As a key member of our Architecture CoE, you will play a crucial role in guiding the bank's technology strategy and delivering innovative solutions for our customers.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Define Bounded Contexts: Identify and define the scope of Bounded Contexts within your domain, aligning with business needs and value streams.
- Co-create Architectural Designs: Collaborate with stakeholders to design target architectures, considering business and technology strategies, and integrating global and local systems.
- Contribute to Roadmap Definition: Provide guidance to business and delivery leadership, assessing the impact of key initiatives and contributing to roadmap development.
- Own Integration and Optimization: Ensure seamless integration of services and platforms across the domain, optimizing functional and non-functional requirements, and reducing complexity and architectural debt.
- Provide Guidance and Support: Offer expertise to engineers, managers, and teams/squads, describing design patterns and best practices in Cookbooks.
- Quarterly Business Review and Planning: Be responsible for Quarterly Business Review items and sign off quarterly plans and Change Governance Documents.
- Technical Debt Management: Ensure architecture implementation aligns with design, measuring and tracking technical debt.
What We're Looking For:
We value candidates with strong communication skills, the ability to operate independently, and a proactive attitude. You should be able to liaise with various stakeholders, including line management, senior management, and external suppliers. Additionally, you should possess problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and attention to detail.
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of experience in architecture.
- Experience in Microservices Architecture, API design, Event Driven Architecture, and Reactive principles.
- Knowledge of Domain Driven Design principles and methodology is a plus.
- Good understanding of security principles and patterns.
- In-depth understanding of the banking environment, products, and processes.
