Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Development Manager to lead our Software Development Center in Lisbon, Portugal. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in establishing and managing our nearshoring office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and manage our nearshoring office in Lisbon, Portugal
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define the center's mission, goals, and KPIs
  • Identify top-tier frontend and backend developers
  • Build and lead a high-performing development team
  • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement
  • Guide the team in frontend and backend development best practices
  • Ensure high-quality code, scalability, and maintainability
  • Collaborate with architects and product owners to align technical solutions with business objectives
  • Implement agile methodologies and efficient workflows
  • Monitor performance metrics and optimize processes for productivity
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in software development, including leadership roles
  • Excellent communication, team-building, and mentoring abilities
  • Results-driven with a passion for achieving business outcomes through technology
  • Familiarity and comfort with the local culture, business environment, and regulations
  • English is required
  • Valid work permit for Portugal
