Senior Procurement Specialist

At Allianz Popular Sl., we are seeking a highly experienced Senior Procurement Buyer to join our Global Sourcing & Procurement team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the sourcing activities within the Global Category "IT Infrastructure".
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement procurement strategies for IT Infrastructure services, ensuring alignment with Allianz Group's overall procurement objectives and goals.
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers based on their capabilities, price competitiveness, and overall performance.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their requirements and provide guidance on sourcing options and best practices.
- Conduct negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable terms and conditions, while ensuring quality and timely delivery of goods and services.
- Manage supplier relationships, including regular performance evaluations, contract renewals, and issue resolution.
- Monitor market trends and technological advancements in IT Infrastructure to identify potential opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal procurement policies and procedures.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including IT departments and other business units, to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Lead or participate in cross-functional teams and projects to drive continuous improvement and innovation within the procurement function.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior procurement team members, sharing expertise and best practices.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in procurement, specifically within IT Infrastructure sourcing.
- Strong knowledge of IT Infrastructure services and related technologies.
- Proven track record in strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, and supplier relationship management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in procurement tools and systems, preferably experience with SAP or other ERP systems.
- Professional certifications such as CIPS (Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply) or CPSM (Certified Professional in Supply Management).
- Ability to adapt to agile process methodology, with strong collaboration and time management skills, and the ability to quickly adjust to changing circumstances in a dynamic IT environment.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards related to IT procurement.
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills; German language skills are a plus.
