Data Center Construction Manager Job Description

As a Data Center Construction Manager at Amazon Data Services Spain, S.L. - C94, you will be part of a dynamic team responsible for designing, building, and delivering high-performance data centers. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring the successful execution of construction projects, from planning to delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee construction projects, ensuring timely completion, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, engineers, and contractors, to develop and implement construction plans.
  • Manage construction contracts, ensuring compliance with commercial elements and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead negotiations with contractors and vendors to secure the best possible deals.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including customers, contractors, and internal teams.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in construction project management, preferably in the data center industry.

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide teams.
  • Ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions.
  • Fluency in English, with proficiency in Spanish a plus.
