Role Overview: IT Analyst - Manufacturing ERP Analyst
This position collaborates with architects, global process owners, and project teams to evaluate ERP Master Data frameworks, formulate strategies to standardize, update, and transform data to support Operations Digital Excellence initiatives across various improvement projects. You will develop analytical patterns, metrics, and methodologies to assess readiness and adherence to standards. Partner with architects and GPOs to promote data standardization and implement effective data governance practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage in global implementation projects, focusing on SAP PP, PP-PI, and QM modules.
- Collect requirements from business stakeholders and coordinate customization with the relevant teams based on business needs.
- Ensure cohesive design, oversee development activities, testing, and deployment of technical components.
- Collaborate with internal teams and business partners to identify, categorize, and prioritize site-specific requirements.
- Address system issues, comprehend business requirements, and clarify established processes to business users.
- Assist business users in articulating their needs and guide them through the necessary activities for business readiness.
- Maintain regular communication with project leadership, team members, and representatives from various functional and technical teams, escalating issues as necessary.
- Participate in various testing cycles and be responsible for resolving issues based on priority.
- Build partnerships and relationships with supporting business areas, the IT team, and external partners to balance process and system-driven solutions.
- Clearly communicate the role of technology in terms easily understood by business colleagues.
- Understand and explain the connection between best practice business processes and technology.
- Set clear expectations for business engagement and activities while managing project delivery.
- Accurately assess project-specific risks throughout the development lifecycle.
- Comprehend the fundamental principles of information security risk and data models.
- Collaborate effectively across matrixed organizations, multiple projects, and with implementation partners.
- Proactively communicate any anticipated challenges, barriers, or complications related to process and technology implementation.
- Travel may be required up to 20%.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.
- Proficient knowledge of MM, PP, QM in SAP and a solid understanding of manufacturing business processes.
- Familiarity with interfaces between modules and non-SAP applications such as TrakSYS & LIMS is a plus.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team, managing your own workload effectively.
- Minimum of three years of relevant experience in a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Excellent data analysis and analytics capabilities.
- Familiarity with formal continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, TPM, TPS, Six Sigma) is advantageous.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Fluency in English is required.
