We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Squash Breeder to join our team at Rijk Zwaan Ibérica, SA. As a key member of our breeding team, you will be responsible for developing new squash varieties that meet the needs of our customers worldwide.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate crop-related processes, including seed logistics, crossing, marker-assisted selection, phenotyping, and administrative tasks.
- Improve processes and implement the latest technology developments within the company.
- Design and evaluate variety trials around the world in our stations and with clients.
- Participate in strategic discussions about the breeding program.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in horticulture, agriculture, applied biology, or plant breeding.
- Excellent English language skills, with a good level of Spanish also required.
- Previous experience in plant breeding is an advantage.
