Senior Quality Assurance Engineer: Delivering Excellence in Enterprise Software

Job Summary: Centric Software is a leading provider of enterprise software applications for the fast-moving consumer goods market. Our software solutions empower businesses to optimize and execute their processes, from product conception to production. We are constantly innovating, both in terms of functionality and technology. As a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our Enterprise and SaaS software offerings.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scenarios to verify software functionality, performance, and stability for our Enterprise applications in the PLM and multi-category retail domains.
  • Design and maintain automated test scripts using various automation tools and programming languages, such as Selenium, Java, Python, and Unix Shell.
  • Collaborate with the development team to ensure that the software meets requirements and quality standards, and perform root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions for product and process-related activities.
  • Improve and maintain the automated testing framework to ensure its efficiency, scalability, and reliability.
  • Write automation scripts and enhance test automation frameworks like Cucumber, TestNG, Appium, and Playwright.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance, security, and accessibility requirements are met.
  • Mentor and coach team members on best practices, automation techniques, and industry trends.
  • Lead performance testing efforts to assess system scalability and stability under retail-specific scenarios.

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in Software Quality Testing, with a proven track record in Agile development models.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or a related field.
  • Excellent analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail.
  • Proven experience as a QA tester in the PLM domain, multi-category retail domain, or similar retail-specific projects.
  • Proficient knowledge of retail processes and inventory management.
  • Familiarity with bug tracking systems and test management tools.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD tools like Jenkins for pipeline projects.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Self-learner and passionate about technology.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.
  • Adaptability and the ability to work in a fast-paced and constantly evolving retail environment.
