Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP Project Manager to lead large, complex projects and programs between $2M to $5M in budget. The successful candidate will be responsible for building client relationships, delivering projects, and providing thought leadership across technical and business process aspects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple clients and complex projects simultaneously.
  • Assist in pre-sales activities and expanding Vistex consulting services.
  • Assist with scoping and estimating project work.
  • Identify and close new service opportunities for assigned clients.
  • Identify appropriate consulting skills required for projects.
  • Onsite lead for implementation projects.
  • Experience managing SOW/Contract requirements and related change requests for fixed-priced engagements.
  • Adhere to all documented PMO processes and procedures.
  • Lead the effort to define deliverables, templates, and standards for projects.
  • Develop and manage detailed integrated project plans, including project milestones and deliverables.
  • Identify, track, and report project performance metrics to clients.
  • Manage project issues, risks, scope, budgets, and client expectations.
  • First point of escalation for project-related issues.
  • Establish trusted advisor relationships with key client and implementation partner stakeholders.
  • Monitor budget to actual project expenditures, headcount, and deliverable completion.
  • Manage and maintain project financials (resources, schedule, and budget).
  • Subject matter expert in SAP methodologies and implementation best practices.
  • Mentor project managers and delivery managers as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • SAP experience managing complex and fixed-priced projects.
  • Order to Cash & Finance area expertise.
  • Experience in multiple SAP full lifecycle software implementations.
  • Expertise with SAP Waterfall and Agile methodologies and related tools and templates.
  • Independent thinking with keen problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changing schedules and multiple work plans.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to learn new software quickly.
  • Knowledge of Vistex software a plus.
