About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Pipeline Corrosion Engineer to join our team in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia. As a key member of our Northern Area Corrosion & Inspection Division, you will be responsible for developing and implementing corrosion mitigation plans for our operating pipelines.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and maintain corrosion integrity management plans for operating facilities in accordance with company and international standards.
  2. Implement and maintain corrosion mitigation plans for operating pipelines through chemical treatment, coating, cathodic protection, and material selection.
  3. Conduct corrosion mitigation and integrity reviews to optimize inspection and corrosion programs.
  4. Investigate corrosion-related failures and provide recommendations to prevent future occurrences.
  5. Develop and maintain on-stream inspection programs for field piping.
  6. Support facility improvements by reviewing design packages and providing comments on corrosion monitoring and mitigation plans.
  7. Collaborate with inspection teams during plant shutdowns and turnaround inspections.
Requirements
  1. Must hold a Bachelor's degree in materials, metallurgical, chemical, mechanical, corrosion engineering, or an MSc in corrosion engineering.
  2. Must have NACE Pipeline Corrosion Integrity Management (PCIM) Technologist certification or higher.
  3. Must have at least 15 years' experience in the oil & gas industry, with at least 5 years' experience in pipelines inspection, corrosion, and integrity management.
  4. Must have knowledge of internal and external corrosion mechanisms common to upstream oil and gas pipelines.
  5. Must have knowledge of corrosion mitigation techniques and corrosion monitoring techniques.
  6. Must be familiar with government regulations and industry codes and standards.
