About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Aerospace Guidance and Navigation Systems Engineer to join our team at GMV. As a key member of our Defence sector team, you will be involved in the development and implementation of advanced navigation, guidance, and control algorithms for a major European programme.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform analysis of existing and state-of-the-art algorithms for navigation, guidance, and control systems
  • Develop and implement new algorithms and their coding
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate navigation and guidance systems into defence applications
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aeronautical Engineering or a related field
  • Strong background in applied mathematics, classical mechanics, and programming languages such as MATLAB/Simulink and C++
  • Knowledge of navigation systems, including Kalman filters and GNSS error modelling
  • Experience with guidance and control systems, including classical and modern approaches
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
