About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Aerospace Engineer to join our team at GMV, where you will play a key role in the development and implementation of advanced navigation, guidance, and control algorithms for a major European hypersonic threat defence program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform analysis of existing and state-of-the-art algorithms to identify areas for improvement and develop new solutions
  • Develop and implement advanced navigation, guidance, and control algorithms for hypersonic and other high-performance airborne threat interceptors
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate algorithms into navigation systems
  • Conduct research and development of new technologies for application to hypersonic and other high-performance airborne threat interceptors
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering or a related field
  • Strong background in applied mathematics, classical mechanics, and programming languages such as MATLAB/Simulink and C++
  • Experience with navigation systems, guidance, and control systems, including Kalman filters and hybridisation
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
